Washington’s Best will not base course fees, entrance standards or standards for successful completion of a course on a student’s race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status or handicap.
Washington’s Best will provide to prospective and enrolled students the following information: name of approved school, course title, education objectives of the course, type of instruction and system requirements, the number of clock hours approved for the course, name of instructor and contact information for same, fees for the course and cancellation and tuition refund policy.
Refund Policy: Any student will be given a refund of tuition paid (minus 2.8% credit card fee) if, within 10 days of receipt of the course, the student decides not to begin the course(s).
All course materials are provided as part of the tuition.
Attendance: Courses offered by Washington’s Best in distance education format do not require classroom attendance. Washington is a ‘seat-time’ state with a 50-minute clock hour requirement. Students have 12 months from the date of registration to complete the program. Updates and changes to the courses will be provided to the student during this time. Extensions due to illness or undue hardship may be considered on a per case basis.
Completion Requirements: Students must, without exception, complete all requirements of the course work and the school must receive that information along with the state required Statement of Compliance and Evaluation, thru the LMS – Learning Management System – prior to the student electronically receiving a certificate of completion for the course.
School Records: Washington’s Best will maintain, for a minimum of five years, each student’s record containing the following information: the student’s name, address, date of enrollment and completion, clock hours completed. Student records are available to student and governing jurisdiction upon request.
